  • Spotify: User profile, library content, and playlists.
  • SoundCloud: User profile, likes, and playlists.

Local & Public Data ​

  • Local Files (e.g., Rekordbox): If you choose to import data from local DJ software databases (such as Rekordbox), the application reads these files locally on your device to synchronize your library.
  • Public Metadata (e.g., Bandcamp): We may fetch publicly available track information and artwork to populate your library metadata.

3. How We Use Your Data ​

We use this data strictly to provide the features of the Tangle Music application:

  • Unified Library: To display music from all your connected sources in a single interface.
  • Library Management: To allow you to create, edit, and delete playlists across connected platforms.
  • User Interaction: To enable you to "Like" or "Unlike" tracks on supported platforms directly from the player.
  • Synchronization: To ensure your local library stays up-to-date with your remote accounts and local databases.

4. Data Storage ​

  • Local Storage Only: Your OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens, Refresh Tokens, and cached library data are stored locally on your device in secure storage.
  • No Cloud Storage: We do not send your user data, credentials, or local database contents to any external servers, third-party databases, or analytics providers. All processing happens locally on your machine.
  • Deletion: If you log out of a specific service or uninstall the application, the associated tokens and cached data are removed from your device.

5. Sharing of Information ​

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is only exchanged directly between your device and the respective API services (YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud) when you initiate an action.
