Search Everywhere

• Search across music sources from the Library, preview a track, and save it directly to a playlist or tag. You can also create a new playlist while saving.

More Platforms

• Connect Apple Music to bring in your library and playlists.
• Import a Spotify library export from TuneMyMusic as a read-only Spotify(csv) source, including your Liked Songs and playlists. Re-import an updated file to refresh it.
• On Mac, import local songs and playlists from Music or iTunes, alongside your other file sources.

Fixes

• Source sync no longer interrupts an already running sync or makes the Sidebar and graph flash.
• YouTube playlist changes are detected more reliably, including when an earlier snapshot is missing.
• Tidal sync no longer stalls on deleted albums, and desktop playback handles more local audio files reliably.

A new way to explore your library

• The Library Graph has been rebuilt as an interactive Flow Field. Explore spatially arranged artwork, pan and zoom through your library, browse groups, and select tracks directly from the graph.

More control over your library

• Hide unwanted imports without interrupting sync. Browse hidden tracks from their own Sidebar view and restore them whenever you need them.
• Review likely duplicate tracks in a dedicated workflow, with direct access from the Source and Track Inspectors.

More desktop audio formats

• Play M4A, AAC, and ALAC files on desktop, with more reliable WAV and MP3 playback.

Fixes

• The app stays responsive during long source syncs. The Sidebar no longer blanks or collapses while a source is syncing.
• Fixed large YouTube Liked Videos libraries failing to sync at the pagination limit.
• Fixed playlist merge previews showing phantom additions, inconsistent combined-list ordering, and Spotify inserts being added at the end of a playlist.
• Improved Library keyboard navigation, selection, and playback shortcuts.

BPM and key analysis

• Bandcamp tracks get BPM and key analysis during import.
• Rekordbox BPM is still prioritised since it's usually more accurate.

Rekordbox, leveled up

• Manage your Rekordbox folders directly from Tangle.
• Add files straight into Rekordbox by importing them into Tangle and adding them to a Rekordbox list.
• Tracks are matched to Rekordbox more reliably using their file paths.

Smoother

• Dragging to the edge of the sidebar now auto-scrolls so you can drop exactly where you want.
• A weighted sync progress bar gives a truer sense of how far along a sync is across every source.

• You can now create Tangle source playlists too.
• Dragging a track to the edge of a long playlist auto-scrolls so you can drop it exactly where you want.
• The tag and playlist filter menu keeps a stable order instead of reshuffling while you work.

• Searching by track title, artist and album is much faster.
• NOT tag and playlist filters no longer take a long time to load on large libraries.

Play control upgrades

• A new indicator on the track row shows which track is currently playing.
• You can now pause a track directly from its row.
